Not this year . . .

You may not believe me, but I am glad we didn't win today. I was really starting to hate this whole perfect season thing. It was distracting. I had concluded weeks ago it was an unfair burden. My actual love, for this greatest of games, was being weakened by the constant stream of media drivel. Every news outlet in New England has been in a race to provide more coverage on our home team. The endless interviews and docudramas had taken a toll on our collective interest. And it showed. Brady got little to no protection today. He was sacked at least 5 times.

But it has been a great season. I know many want to make excuses, and suggest The Patriots get alot of breaks, and aren't that good. I can only offer their record. I saw every game this season, and there was some amazing football. And while I would have preferred they loose the season to anybody but a Manning, they entertained and will be back next year.

I don't really dig football. I watched the Celebrity Rehab marathon instead. That Daniel Baldwin is such an annoying gasbag.

Sorry about the loss, Flix. The Giants played well, and their defense really did their job and shut Brady down. It was a great game, and I loved the halftime show! Isn't that a great guitar? There's more info about it on the Dusenberg website if you're a guitar junkie.

I think this game was a fine example of how the quarterback got way too much attention while the guys who really played the game got shoved aside. Between the two, I think Manning is a better QB than Brady. Because he's got guts and he can take a hit, and he doesn't seem too preoccupied with protecting his pretty face.

But don't get me wrong, I would love to console Tom right now. I would have to wrassle that skinny Brazilian for him and she looks like a scratcher.

Pru, I agree. Dan is an ass.

LA, you're always the sweetheart.

Kook, I am sending Tom back to CA. He wants to meet with you.

Im chalking it up to Baby Mama Karma. Sorry. I can't be a Brady fan, even if he is easy on the eyes.

Flix,

Even though I'm not a fan of the Patriots, in the spirit of good sportsmanship, I have to say that they had a great season, and I'm happy to have been able to enjoy watching some excellent football.

Kook, you're special, too!!

Mish, they Giseled him, by showing her during the game.

Dan, there's nothing to really complain about. They had an excellent season. (Are you blogging again?)

I've tuned out of football and moved on to MLB . . . I have to say though, that Brady has been very impressive all year, in large part because of the outstanding protection he had from his line . . .

Diane, it certainly has been a roller-coaster ride for us fans. Baseball suddenly sounds like fun!!

Flix,

I'm not posting on my family blog, but I did post last month on my off road club blog that no one reads. I have been reading blogs more often recently. I miss the whole blogging thing. Aside from the comment I left you a couple of days ago, I haven't left any comments in two months.
