Love the Peppers..have been a fan since way back in LA when they were the openers.

how are you, Flix?

Hey Bird! This album was given to me as a gift, and I just can't get over how good it is!!

The CD artwork is also very bright and retro.

I'll have too give it a listen . . . I'm not a huge RHCP fan - I like some of there material, but don't own any albums . . . I have heard good things about this one

Listen to it? I live it! Just kidding. But those Peppers are muy caliente. Wow is right.

Diane, this is the one to get. I don't really follow the group but this album shines!

Kook, right on!!

Dream of Californication.

Yeah, the RHCP always come out with great music. Is "Snow (Hey Oh)" on this album? A solid song with a great melody, just like their other hits.

I wasn't a fan of the RHCP until I saw them at a free show in T.O. They're fantastic live! I bought this album when it came out and also thought "Wow."

Sometimes I get a CD, give it a listen, think "meh" and put it away, only to rediscover it months later and love it. That happened with the Californication album.

This review is complex yet attainable, brash yet to the point.

Focused but open to limited interpertation ,I likey.

LA, I have that one on the Greatest Hits!!

Yes V!

So true, Mish!

Pru, that's me. This album is going to keep me busy for months.

Joy, I get paid by the letter.

Thanks, kookla!! I missed that post.

Hmm...I may have to try this one since you recommend it. The last RHCP CD I bought was Blood Sugar Sex Magik, and since then, I've sort of felt they're completely overplayed.

Edit, I never really liked the BSSM album. The new CD is miles ahead of the old stuff.
