The VP debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin was a tremendous relief. Why? Because it ended. Once it was over, I was able to focus my concentration on the issues between the two presidential candidates. These last two debates are what I've been waiting for. I need details. I crave details. I am an independent thinking person that needs somebody to step-up to the podium and explain an economic plan that will stop our financial decline. I've got nothing but nasty rumors, insulting attitude, and bad reporting to base my vote on so far.
And I won't have it.
This is what I've been waiting for. Gentlemen, debate your strategy!!
Right on about not getting useful information and details. Somewhere along the line fluff and stuff replaced debates that centered on details and objectives ...
It's as if high school class elections have gone extreme and we now pick government people via a popularity contest.
Unfortunately, I predict no one will man-up and say anything too definitive. If there is one thing that marks any political campaign, it's "wiggle room." All the candidates are deliberately vague because they don't want to get crucified for any stand they might take. Like I said, unfortunately.
wow. i have some catching up to do and i'm not just talking about politics.
i come from an extremely diverse background. republicans, democrats, independents, conservatives, liberal. we thrive on political debate in our family. but even we are confused about what this election is all about.
i don't care who's in the white house. but if you're gonna bring change we can believe in or be mavericky, then start with the economy.

I am dissappointed too! The debates sucked.

Bill, the high school analogy is right on. (I actually considered doing a post on it, but opted against it.)
Pixie, you are correct!!
LA, it's getting tiresome.
Oh there you go again, GF, thinking rationally, gosh darnit! Just vote for McCain/Palin or else Jesus will be mad.
