You guys aren't gonna believe this, but I was staying at a friend's house across the street while Donnie Darko was being filmed. I didn't even know who Jake was at the time, so I probably saw him around without knowing it. Many houses in the neighborhood are used for filming. Ferris Bueller was one, but I can't remember which house that one was either.
